Built at the AT&T Developer Summit Hackathon in Las Vegas in January, 2015.
Won the 1st place award for MediaTek Labs IoT and Wearables Challenge.
AT&T Developer Summit Hackathon 2015 in Las Vegas, with nearly 200 teams in the competition.
The Sensus monitor device build, with LinkIt ONE and grove sensors (UV, temperature, noise, light, LED bar). Using MediaTek backend IoT Platform, process sensor data and notifies warnings to cellphone and wearable to facility managers and general public.
Demonstrated the build to judge groups.
And the winner goes to ... 1st place award of MediaTek Labs IoT and Wearables Challenge - a big check of $10,000.
After hackathon, the geeks are enjoying a party at Rock@Rain, with Neon Trees performing.
Hackathon is usually an all-night event, taking a break (and breath:) on the rooftop at midnight.
